Selcotek Composites AS, etablert i 2014, er en produksjonsbedrift, som viderefører og utvikler foretningsområdet Industri/offshore/forsvars-relaterte produkter fra tidligere SelcoTek AS og før det Ticon Plastindustrier as.

Vi representerer mer en 50 års erfaring innen plastkompositter og dette har satt oss i stand til å løse de fleste produksjonsoppgaver.

Selcotek Composites har sin spesielle styrke når utfordringene krever kvalifisert konstruksjon og beregninger hvor anvendelsene krever kombinasjon av ulike materialer. Vi tar på oss oppdrag innefor hele spekteret fra prototyper og stykkproduksjon til strømlinjeformet serieproduksjon.

I Selcotek Composites har vi evne til å tilpasse oss kundens behov og krav til teknologi. Våre kunder spenner over et vidt spekter fra industri og offshorebedrifter til forsvar, satellittkommunikasjon og kunstneriske utsmykninger.

Plastkompositter karakteriseres av en unik formbarhet, overlegent styrke/vekt-forhold og ypperlige dynamiske-, korrosjonshindrende-, elektriske- og isolerende egenskaper.

Produksjonsteknikkene er vakuumassistert injeksjon i dobble former og folieinjeksjon, håndopplegg og vakuum-bag.

Vi arbeider kontinuerlig med utvikling og forbedring av våre produksjonsprosesser både med hensyn til totaløkonomi og miljø.

Materialkunnskap, fleksible produksjonsfasiliteter og gjennomprøvet kvalitessikring basert på ISO 9001:2000 gjør at vi kan tilby en totalkvalitet som gir trygghet for våre kunder.

Selcotek Composites AS was established in 2014 following the purchase of the production rights of SelcoTek AS and Ticon Plastindustrier AS. Selcotek Composites is dedicated to the further development of industrial/offshore/defence related products that the previous companies had built their international reputation upon.

With 50 years of experience in our chosen area of fibreglass composites and sandwich panels we are able to take on almost any production assignment.
Our special strength is the ability to carry out specialised design and development work where a combination of different materials is required. We cover all aspects of manufacture including prototypes, one-off products and streamlined mass-production.

Our versatility allows us to adjust ourselves to our customers' requirements and technological demands. This has resulted in a customer-base that includes on-shore and off-shore industrial companies, international Defence Departments, satellite communication and even artistic decoration.

The use of fibreglass composites has grown steadily over the later years and the area of application has widened considerably. At Selcotek Composites we have not only followed this development but in many cases have taken the lead. The experience gained from this has made us into a versatile and up-to-date partner for our customers.

Fibreglass composites are unique in that they can be made in virtually any shape that combines a superior strength/weight ratio with outstanding dynamic, corrosion resistant, electrical and insulating properties.

Our production technology includes vacuum-assisted, double-mould injection, membrane injection, hand lay-up and vacuum bag.

Development and improvement of our production processes is an on-going activity especially where economic viability and environmental issues are concerned.

Our combination of materials know-how, production versatility and an operative Quality Assurance system based on ISO 9001:2000 puts us in a position to offer our customers a total-quality concept. This is reflected in our list of references where major, long-term customers are included.
